Since 2008, thousands of participants across BC have joined the Kidney Walk. In 2013, our event will take place in 21 communities across the province.
Participants raised over $860,000 to increase organ donation, fund research, provide support for kidney patients and their families, and to educate the public about the importance of kidney health. |

And not only that. They had fun doing it. There's food, entertainment, silent auctions and more. Come on out. Lace up your shoes and join us in August through September to walk, run, cycle, or even dragonboat at your community's KIDNEY WALK, or sign up for one of our timed and competitive KIDNEY RUN events happening alongside the Kidney Walk!
Activities include:
2.5 Km Walk and
5 Km Fun Run, as well as
5 Km/10Km Kidney Run
Competitive Events,
2.5 Km Paddle, and
5 Km Cycle in select communities!
