Organ Donation Discussion Forums

The Gift of Life is the most special gift of all! Each year, hundreds of Canadians make a difference by donating a kidney to a loved one or a complete stranger.

And each year, there are many fortunate Canadians who receive a kidney which can help them lead a longer, healthier life.

But donating or receiving a kidney can be a challenging time in someone's life. There are often many questions and concerns and it is important and helpful to to speak to someone who has been through the process before.

That's why we've created two new discussion forums to help support donors and recipients. These forums provide a secure online environment to connect donors and recipients and a friendly place to support each other.

If you are a donor, please visit fordonorsonly.com. If you are a recipient, please visit forrecipientsonly.com. Register, participate, and remember to bookmark these links for later reference.

If you would like to learn more about organ donation, please visit the organ donation section of our website.

Note: These forums were created through a collaboration with Foundation supporter Mr. Lawrence Geller.
These discussion forums are Phase 1 of a multi-phase project to be hosted on the Kidney Foundation of Canada website.
