MEDIA ADVISORY: Don and Cindy Cherry to present National Recognition Awards at Kidney Foundation's 50th Anniversary Breakfast

Members of the media are invited to attend the presentation of Kidney Foundation National Recognition Awards at a continental breakfast hosted by Don and Cindy Cherry. This event will honour guests who shared their stories in The Kidney Foundation's 50th Anniversary special magazine, 50 Kidney Stories.

International Alport Syndrome Meeting Report Published
The 2014 International Workshop on Alport Syndrome, held in Oxford, UK in January 2014, published its report in the July issue of Kidney International. Support for this Workshop is part of The Kidney Foundation’s collaboration with other organizations to pool resources to generate new knowledge to reduce the burden of kidney disease and raise awareness of this rare genetic condition.

The Kidney Foundation tables its report with the Quebec Ministry of Health

At a meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Health on June 21, 2013, The Kidney Foundation of Canada tabled its report entitled “The Why and How of Fostering Kidney Transplants in Quebec.” which includes a series of 6 recommendations.
