Being a volunteer at The Kidney Foundation means joining a dynamic and diverse group of people who share a common purpose – to make a difference in the lives of others. We invite you to join thousands of people from across Canada who are making an important contribution to improving the lives of people with kidney disease.

Volunteering is a positive and rewarding experience. It encourages creativity and personal growth in a respectful and supportive environment. Also, we need you! Volunteers make our work possible – from funding vital research, to advocacy, to promoting greater understanding and awareness of kidney health and organ donation.

Happy International Volunteer Day 2018

December 5, 2018 marks International Volunteer Day and here at The Kidney Foundation we are proudly recognizing the impact our volunteers have across Ontario.

Every September, the Ontario Branch hosts numerous Kidney Walks across Ontario to raise awareness and funds to reduce the burden of kidney disease, offer patient programs and services, and fund research for the future of kidney care. The success of the 2018 Kidney Walks would not have been possible without the dedication, support, and enthusiasm from the volunteers in each community.

On International Volunteer Day, join The Kidney Foundation in recognizing how volunteering impacts our community. Thank you for contributing to the growth of our kidney communities by engaging on with like-minded volunteers, donors, fellow Canadians living with kidney disease and their families.

If you are interested in making a difference in our community, become a volunteer with our team today! Check out the latest opportunities in your area.

The spirit of volunteering lives in each of you.
