The Canadian Institute for Health Information has released its annual dialysis and organ donation statistics, highlighting data that shows the risk of patients being hospitalized is highest in their first week of dialysis, and that patients younger than 18 are at highest risk. Also available is the annual Canadian Organ Replacement Register, 2006 to 2015, which provides annual statistics including data tables and figures, CIHI snapshot, methodology notes and data quality documentation.
