Featuring Lydia Lauder, National Director of Programs & Public Policy, The Kidney Foundation of Canada;
Melissa Atcheson, RDN and Rosemary Lejeune, RN.
December 7, 2017.

Diabetes is the leading cause of kidney failure in Canada. Signs of kidney damage are common in people with diabetes. If caught early, there are many steps that can be taken to prevent further damage to the kidneys. Proper diabetes management and a healthy lifestyle may be able to delay or prevent further loss of kidney function. Our presenters discuss: how to manage diabetes and prevent or slow the loss of kidney function and how to balance diabetes- and kidney-friendly diets.
